I love our city. Like you, I am personally affected by city issues. My three children are in the Newton Public Schools. My business and my wife’s business are located in Newton. I have been active in Newton organizations such as the New Art Center in Newton and Little League. As a doctor and business consultant, I will work to bring my skills, experience and energy to the Board of Aldermen. |
 |
Key issues for this term will include:
- New trash collection contract
- Construction and financing of Newton North High School
- Probable Proposition 2-1/2 override request
- Sources of additional revenues for the city, and energy efficiency and other means of cost savings
- Prudent use of Community Preservation Act funds
- Revision of city noise ordinance and consideration of leaf blower ban
- Proposed new developments on Route 9, Riverside and Needham Street
|
 |
None of these will be easy.
Thank you for your input and support!
